Roadsides and trails are full of amazing inspiration for this very unique project! Susan has created many different fabric books from Italy to Alaska, her love of hand stitching, painting, collage, and collecting, all combines to create these little treasures. In this pattern she will walk you through creating landscapes, embroidered flowers, 3-D elements from photos, collage appliqué and thread painting by hand to create unusual textures. All of which will be lavished with hand embroidery techniques using hand-dyed fabrics, trims, and threads.
