Description
This is an In-Person Class only through the Cabarrus Art Guild in Concord, on June 22, 2024 from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm. Location will be sent to students. We will be creating a little Morning Glory page for a Mini Fabric Book, banner or other individual little piece of fiber art. The class will focus on hand embroidery and collage techniques, using Stumpwork (3-D) Embroidery using Pearl Cotton Threads and many other hand embroidery stitches! There will be more classes offered for more pages of this little book project. There will be a kit fee in class for Pattern ($16.) or kit $35. for this project.
Kit will include: Pattern, Background fabrics, Batting, Needles, one spool of Silk Ribbon for Parts of the flower, some Rayon Ribbon, and more important parts! Even a little Beetle! (If you have taken other classes for this project, kit fee will be adjusted.)
You will need to bring: Pearl Cotton Threads (I use all sizes, & available to purchase at class), Scissors, Pins, Fabric Pencil (chalk Pencil), any charms and buttons, beads, Embroidery Book (available to purchase at class) and Lunch!
